GENBOREE: THE OLYMPIC SCOUTING GAMES
AIMS
The voluntary association “Il C.A.S.T. (Culture, Art, hiStory and popoular Traditions) di San Desiderio” has invented these events, after the beautiful past experiences (International Bivouac “On the tracks of Desiderio” in May 2004; International Bivouac “Together, brothers in the world” in May 2005; the first Olympic Scouting Games and the work camps that in the summer 2006 have taken in Valle Sturla more than 800 scouts). Today C.A.S.T. continues in its aims and offers similar scout events! For its experience in the area of the valorisation of the culture, the art, the history, the popular traditions and for its already perfected partnership with scouting associations, having similar aims, “Il CAST di San Desiderio” is going to offer again the opportunity for finding in Genoa the best point of meeting scouts. An opportunity for living the scout way of life not only as an international moment, but also as a cultural experience, visiting the beauties of Genoa and Liguria region.
